Keith M. Barr

ARP — Memorial services for Keith M. Barr, 82, Arp, are set for 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Tyler with the Rev. Dr. Mark Braaten and Rev. Art Miller officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton. Mr. Barr died Wednesday, Aug. 25.

Dancers bound for NYC
benefit 5:30-9 tonight
Celebrity nights are planned for one Thursday evening a month: beginning 5:30 to 9 tonight. Kit Scott will entertain Aug. 26, Sept. 16, Oct. 14 and Nov. 4 at The Green Melon on Commerce St., Overton.
As he performs, Scott will accept donations for the Star Makers group scheduled to dance [...]

LLeague Cheer Squad Register

Leverett’s Chapel Meet the Teachers

    Leverett’s Chapel ISD invites elementary, junior- and high-school students and their parents to Meet the Teachers this Thursday, Aug. 19 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30. Students are welcome to bring their school supplies and leave them with the teacher.
