NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON TAX INCREASE
 
The City of Overton will conduct a Public Hearing on September 2, 2010 at 7:00 pm at Overton City Hall regarding the city property tax increase from $0.5559 per $100.00 property tax value to $0.56034 per $100.00 property tax value.

Overton City Council is scheduled to meet 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 30, for a public hearing of the proposed tax rate. Citizens are welcome to attend to make comments or ask questions of the council members, mayor or city manager.
